There was one scene that stuck out to me, the coffee with the heart. I wondered how they made the heart, but then later on in the doc you showed how it was made. Also one negative was the transitions. Multiple times the screen just went black, with nothing happening. It was very distracting.
The audio was very muddy, and it's really difficult to hear what the people are saying. Which is a shame because what they were saying was great! I loved all the interviews, just wish they were easier to understand. The long black cuts were a bit distracting, and the framing of the manager was as well, because the top of his head was chopped off. The music was nice, and the overall take on the coffee shop was fun and interesting to watch.
I really enjoyed the video. The shots were beautiful and really well done. The interviews with customers had a LOT of background noise and at times that was kind of distracting. There were also a couple times the screen went black and it seemed like a really long delay.
I liked all the interviews you guys had! I thought all the b roll was good and Myron did a great job talking about what the place was really about. The music could have been quieter at times but great work!
This is great. The music selection was spot on and I really enjoyed the cuts synced up to the track. You guys had a lot of B-roll which was very refreshing to see and made it much more interesting.
Your footage is great and you have a lot of interviews which added a lot of variety to the video! The sound on some of the interviews seems to be competing with the background noise which makes it hard to hear at some points, and I would've also liked to see more behind-the-counter footage of multiple drinks being made. I really like the barista's interview, I felt that it was genuine and personable. Good job!
Good video. I could definitely feel a sense of pride and community in the video about the coffee shop. I feel at some points the ambience was very loud and some of the cut aways lasted a tad too long.
I liked the high and low shots of the B roll, and the fading in and out of some of the shots. I would liked to have the background nose turned down. Very nice job group
I think you guys did a great job, talking to the different people helped me understand and to see it from different views. Whether it being the owner, the staff or the customers. The music also worked well with the footage.
I thought you guys did a great job at capturing the feeling and mission of the Electric Brew. I liked the b-roll you got, with all the different angles of the shop. One distraction was the black screen in between each interviewee. I think you could have just cut to the different people without the black screen in between, or put b-roll in those spots.
I liked the video; the information, the B role, and the people that you decided to interview, and the chatter of the crowd in the coffee shop. The only thing that bothers be in the long scenes of black between the shots. that was distracting.

ReplyDeleteI think you guys did a great job! The interview clips flow very well together! Some of the audio could have been better, but all around good job!
ReplyDeleteI liked that you had a variety of customers speaking since this place is about family and company.
ReplyDeleteI loved the b-roll in this video. It was all very diverse and well shot.
